Smyth County Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce of Smyth County, Virginia serves as a valued resource to individuals and businesses in Smyth County.  The Chamber is tasked with aiding families looking to relocate, helping businesses who are established or looking to become established, as well as serving as a tourism hub for those visiting the area.

The old Chamber site was suffering from old visuals and updating was near impossible for the staff. The Chamber came to ThoseGeeks with the need of a major structural and visual overhaul and a better way of keeping their content fresh. We took a step back to identify the most important information for the Chamber's visitors and developed a new information architecture to put that at the forefront. We then designed a fresh new look for the site and built it on a great content management system, allowing them to very easily update information on the fly. This new setup is not just pretty -- it will allow the Chamber to serve the needs of the community in ways they never could before!
