Website Support & Maintenance

Your site, always looked after.

Proactive updates, security monitoring, and reliable support so your website stays fast, secure, and working — without you thinking about it.

What's Covered

Everything that keeps your site running well.

Websites are not set-and-forget. Here's what active maintenance actually covers.

Plugin & Core Updates

Timely WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates tested on staging before touching production. Outdated software is the number one cause of security vulnerabilities.

Security Monitoring

Continuous malware scanning, login protection, and firewall rules. We alert on threats and resolve them before they become something you find out about the hard way.

Automated Backups

Daily off-site backups with tested restore procedures. If something goes wrong, we get you back up in hours, not days.

Uptime Monitoring

24/7 uptime checks that alert us the moment your site goes down — often before you or your customers notice.

Performance Reviews

Regular speed audits to catch regressions early. Hosting, caching, and image delivery reviewed quarterly.

Content Updates

Minor content changes — text updates, new staff photos, updated hours — handled within one business day.

Monthly Reporting

A monthly summary of traffic, uptime, and maintenance activity so you stay informed without having to dig into dashboards yourself.

Priority Support

Dedicated support from people who know your site. No ticket queue anonymity — we know your business when you call.

Getting Started

On a maintenance plan in three steps.

We get new maintenance clients onboarded quickly, starting with a full audit of where things stand.

  1. 01

    Site Audit

We do a complete technical review: security posture, outdated software, performance baseline, backup configuration, and anything that needs immediate attention.

  2. 02

    Onboarding & Remediation

We fix any critical issues found in the audit, configure monitoring and backup systems, and document your site's architecture for our records.

  3. 03

    Ongoing Coverage

Monthly updates, monitoring, and support from that point forward — with clear communication and a monthly summary report so you always know what's happening.

Common Questions

Questions people ask about website maintenance plans.

What businesses actually want to know before committing to ongoing support.

Do I really need a website maintenance plan?
If your site is business-critical and runs on WordPress, yes. WordPress powers over 40% of the web precisely because it's powerful and extensible — but that ecosystem of plugins requires ongoing upkeep. Unpatched software is the number one cause of hacked websites. A maintenance plan costs far less than emergency cleanup after a breach.
How much does a website maintenance plan cost?
Our plans typically run $99–$299/month depending on scope — whether content updates are included, hosting, the level of support coverage, and how many sites. We'll scope a plan around what your site actually needs, not a one-size package.
What's included in a basic plan vs. a premium one?
Basic plans cover the essentials: updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and security scanning. Premium plans add content updates, priority response times, monthly analytics reports, and proactive performance optimization. We'll recommend what makes sense for your site's complexity and your team's capacity.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
We handle the full cleanup: malware removal, backdoor elimination, password resets, plugin audit, and post-cleanup security hardening. For clients on maintenance plans, this is included. For sites we don't maintain, we offer emergency cleanup as a standalone service — though it always costs more than prevention would have.
Can you take over maintenance for a site you didn't build?
Yes, and we do this often. We start with a site audit to understand the architecture and current state, document everything, and take over ongoing care from there. If we find problems that need to be addressed first, we'll tell you clearly and quote the remediation separately before proceeding.
How quickly do you respond to support requests?
For maintenance plan clients, we target same-day or next-business-day response for most requests. For emergencies — site down, active hack — we prioritize immediately. Response times are defined in your plan agreement so there's no ambiguity about what you can expect.
Do you provide hosting as part of a maintenance plan?
We can. We manage hosting for many of our maintenance clients on infrastructure we've vetted for performance and security. If you already have a host you're happy with, we can maintain the site there instead. We don't require hosting with us to take on maintenance work.
What if I want to cancel the maintenance plan?
No long-term contracts. We work month-to-month. If you decide to bring maintenance in-house or move in a different direction, we hand off everything cleanly: access credentials, full documentation, and a complete site backup. You're never locked in.
