Precision Contracting Services provides fiber optic, training and networking services in the Southeastern United States. With an aging website, PCS needed a new one, and they needed it fast. We worked with PCS to identify site structure, and imagery to quickly develop a new site they could easily manage with WordPress.
Then, months later, it got hacked. WordPress, bless its heart, is just prone to getting hacked. We love WordPress, but it’s true. We had been developing sites with the Jamstack for a while and PCS was a great fit. So we got with PCS and decided to rebuild the site with Hugo.
Not only is the site now not hackable at all, it’s also incredibly fast compared to the previous version. PCS staff still has easy access to edit content with Netlify CMS.
